A Beloved Killington Tradition

At The Karr Group, we are proud to host Ted Arbo’s Holiday Toy Party, a cherished Killington tradition now celebrating its 39th year. Held annually at the beautiful Foundry at Summit Pond, this special event brings our community together in the true spirit of the season — to give back, lift others up, and make the holidays brighter for local children and families.

What started as a grassroots gathering hosted by Ted Arbo has grown into one of Killington’s most meaningful holiday celebrations. Guests are invited to bring new, unwrapped toys, which are distributed to children in need throughout the region. In addition to toy donations, the event raises funds for numerous local charities and nonprofit organizations, helping to support vital community services all year long.

The night is filled with live music, great food and drinks, laughter, and connection — all in the name of giving. We’re continually inspired by the generosity of our neighbors, friends, and local businesses who show up year after year to make this event such a success.

The KCup Golf TournamenT

Supporting the Jimmy Fiore Scholarship Fund

At The Karr Group, we are honored to host the KCup Golf Tournament, an event created to celebrate the life and legacy of Jimmy Fiore — a devoted member of the Killington Fire Department who dedicated much of his life to protecting and serving our town.

Since its start in 2023, the KCup has brought together the Killington community for a day of friendly competition and fun for a great cause. The tournament raises money for the Jimmy Fiore Scholarship Fund, which helps support individuals pursuing a career in firefighting or emergency services — a cause Jimmy held close to his heart.

Through player registrations, sponsorships, and generous donations, the KCup directly contributes to educational opportunities for future firefighters, keeping Jimmy’s spirit of service alive in the next generation of first responders.

The Huck Finn Catfish Derby

A Classic Killington Summer Tradition

At The Karr Group, we’re excited to support one of Killington’s most fun and family-friendly summer events — the Huck Finn Catfish Derby! Held annually at Summit Pond, this lighthearted fishing competition brings out anglers of all ages for an afternoon of friendly competition, great food, and community spirit — all while raising money for Killington Elementary School.

Participants can cast their lines in hopes of reeling in the biggest catch, with trophies awarded to the top anglers. As always, the event features burgers and hot dogs, and plenty of laughs to go around.
