Looking forward to you and your band arriving here in Killington for your performance at the Pickle Barrel!
Welcome to the 2025-2026 winter season of the Pickle Barrel!
First, Killington has experienced its greatest growth in residency and property values it has ever seen! With all these great increases, we were forced to say good-bye to the Pickle Barrel Band House. 30 years of history…if we only had recordings of what went on there! Great artists like Jason Maraz, Semi-sonic, and The Wailer’s all spent many nights there! Please see band house section for details.
Management- The Pickle Barrel is managed by Ike Shaible. He will reach out to you to advance your arrival here to the Pickle Barrel or you can reach him at ike@karrgroupvt.com or 978-973-3272.
Promotions / Marketing: Pickle Barrel promotional materials—including all social media, print and digital advertisements etc—are managed by Jenny Buono. Please send high resolution, promotional artwork including band photos, logos etc to jennyb@karrgroupvt.com.
Travel: While it may be warm and rainy where you are, hopefully it will be snowing here! Keep that in mind as you travel here. Google maps gives the best directions here to the club. We are located at 1741 Killington Road, Killington, Vermont. Please allow ample travel time in order to arrive at your scheduled load in time.
Set-up/Sound Check: Our House Sound Engineer is Tom White. He is in control of all sound and lighting in the room. Please be sure to advance your date with him far enough in advance. Sound check must be completed by 6 pm most nights. Therefore, load in must occur by 3 pm, unless otherwise approved by him. Tom is responsible for other rooms of ours as well, so do your best to be punctual. Tom can be reached at tomwhitevt@hotmail.com or 802.236.3453
Equipment: You are responsible for all of your stage gear. We provide all the mics and stands as well. You may review a complete list of our house production equipment HERE. Should you have any questions regarding the PA, please direct those to Tom.
Set Times: All bands are required to do 3/50 minute sets, unless negotiated with contract. We provide a VJ in between sets, so it is important that set times are adhered too.

Dressing Room- Located off of the kitchen, away from the stage. There is a small private bath. (real small!) The room is shared with the Crow’s Nest stage act as well. Please be nice and friendly, it is a small room! Wifi is available throughout the club. The network is PB Management. The password is babysage1. It is subject to change throughout the season.
Discounts- We are glad you chose to travel north and play Killington. We offer discounts if you choose to dine at one of our sister restaurants, JAX Food & Games or Charity’s 1887 Saloon (50% off any time) or the Foundry (50% off before 5pm). Free pizza (within reason) is available to the band during and after the show. Please let the pizza maker know what you would like prior to the end of the evening. Please note that tips are not included with the pricing.
Skiing & Riding- We do not have access to any lift tickets. That said there are often employee, friends and family deals that happen. Ask any of the staff if they know of any deals available. Rentals are available during non-holiday periods at a discount rate. Please ask Jack for any details.
Band House- The band house is a single family home located at 160 West Park Road in Killington. The house boasts having full size beds, instead of twin mattresses. We want to make sure every gets a good night of sleep. The house is comprised of 3 bedrooms with loft area. All rooms have new full size beds (6 total) as well as a pull out couch if needed. The house has been decorated with old vintage posters of past concerts from the Pickle Barrel. We insist that everything be treated with great respect. Any damage found to the house, artwork, or furniture will be deducted from settlement. Killington as a resort has become cost prohibitive for over night lodging. We are doing our very best to provide affordable housing to our valued artists. Please, treat it with respect.
