The Wobbly Barn is new to the Karr Group for 2025-2026 Season!  After 28 years of owning The Wobbly Barn, Killington Resort sold the Iconic property to The Karr Group.    Chris and his team stepped in Day 1 and started address many design issues and updating systems int he building.  A completely new, revamped sound system was installed by out long time engineer Tom White.  A completely new light show was also built, to dazzle all the skiers after a long day on the slopes.

We are excited many of the staff stayed with us, along with Dave Fitelson the Executive Chef.  The Wobbly Barn Steakhouse will operate just as it has in the past.  Great food 6 nights a week.

Promotion/Marketing- The Wobbly Barn loves to promote!  We do video, print, and digital marketing.  High resolution is required.  Please forward all press material to jennyb@karrgroupvt.com.

Travel- While it maybe warm and rainy where you are, hopefully it will be snowing here. Google maps give the best directions here to the club.  We are located at 2229 Killington Road, Killington, VT. 05751. Please allow ample travel time in order to arrive at your scheduled load in time.

Load In/Set Up/Sound Check-  Our House Sound Engineer is Tome White.  He controls the sound for both the Wobbly Barn and Pickle Barrel.  He will advise you who your engineer will be the night of your performance.  Please be sure to advance your date with him far enough in advance to cover all details.  Sound check must be completed by XX time on Friday, as there is a Happy Hour act playing from 4 to 7:30.  Tom is responsible for other rooms as well, so do your best to be punctual.  Tome can be reached at tomw@karrgroupvt.com or 802-236-3453.

Equipment-  You are responsible for all of your stage gear.  We provide all the mics, cabling and mic stands.  You may review a complete list of our house production equipment HERE.  Should you have any questions regarding sound or lighting, please direct those to Tom.

Set Times-  All bands are required to do 3/50 minutes sets, unless negotiated with contract.  We provide a VJ in between sets, so it is important that set times are adhered to.

Set times are as follows:

Band Set 1
8:00 to 8:50pm

Band Set 2
9:30 to 10:20

Band Set 3
11:00 to 11:50

Dressing Room-  Located upstairs off the side of the bar.  This lovely tight room is a place to get away if you need.  We did not build it, we inherited it!  It is clean functional and fits the need.  Very convenient to the bar for a nice cold beverage! 

Discounts-  We are glad you chose to travel north and play for us in Killington!  We offer discounts if you chose to dine at one of our group properties.  They include Jax Food & Games, Charity’s 1887 Saloon, Foundry at Summit Pond, and here at The Wobbly Barn.  Discounts at the Wobbly and Foundry (50% off before 5pm). Charity’s and Jax are available anytime.  

Skiing & Riding-  We do not have any access to lift tickets.  That said there are often employees of our company that may have connections to discounts.  Please do be afraid to ask them!

Band House-  The Wobbly Barn has a 3 bedroom, 2 bath property directly behind the Pickle Barrel.  35 BGR Road.  It is professionally cleaned, with new linens and towels for your stay.  Please treat the property with respect.  Killington as a resort has become cost prohibitively expensive for overnight lodging.  We are doing our very best to provided affordable housing to our valued artists.  Please treat it with respect.

Load Out-  Load out is after your last set of the engagement.  We ask that you move your gear out in timely manner, as we wish to get home too.  Load out is not available the following day, so please do not ask.

Settlement- Settlement is in the form of check from Chris Karr Productions, Inc.  All bands are required to complete a w-9.  We do send 1099’s to you at the end of the year.
